Catering for Differences

EAL/D

At Santa Clara School we acknowledge our culturally and linguistic diverse community and recognise and understand that some of our students require their  teaching and learning to be supported through the use of the EAL/D Progress Maps.

The English as an Additional Language/Dialect (EAL/D) Progress Maps are a Western Australian planning, monitoring and assessment tool that assists students in developing Standard Australian English (SAE).  Students that are following a modified curriculum through an EAL/D learning plan will have personalised learning goals set mapped according to the EAL/D Progress Maps.
